- Supervises rooms division operations to include front office, housekeeping, concierge, and hospitality departments.
- Ensures the efficient and effective operation of the housekeeping and front office departments.
- Ensures the guest satisfaction levels and monitors guest service scores, comments, and social interactions to provide continuous improvement.
- Set expectations, targets, and objectives.
- Generates projected revenue levels while operating department(s) within budgets.
- Participates in the development of short-term and long-term financial and operational plans for the hotel.
- Establishes and maintains an appropriate level of community involvement.
- Ensures security and safety for the hotel’s assets.
- Remains current on business trends and local activities.
- Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with external customers and suppliers.
- Recruit, manage, train and develop the room division team.
- Contribute to succession planning within the hotel and company.
- Ensures proper handling of guest complaints.
- Assists in the development of new programs which result in an increased level of guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Maintains compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Ensures hotel policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Assists general manager with the execution of marketing, sales, and operational activities,
- All other duties as assigned by management
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Participate in task forces and committees as requested.
- Travel required to attend corporate training, meetings and other event(s) as deemed necessary.

- Provides financial information to hotel managers to ensure understanding and compliance.
- Supports other departments to ensure compliance with policies and procedures established by the hotel.
- Ability to utilize and train personnel staff on the front desk and reservation computer systems.
- Ability to read, interpret and accurately forecast business service levels.
- Promotes an open-door policy among all team members.
- Have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and/or holidays
- Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years hotel management experience.
- College level reasoning, math and language skills.
- Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or cleaning standards
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
- All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).
- Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems.
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length.
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space.
- Must be able to lift up to 50bs on a regular and continuing basis.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill duties.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and subordinates
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.

Plan and manage the room and related areas' operations of the hotel to achieve customer (guests, employees, corporate and owners) satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals. Position is responsible for short and long-term planning and day-to-day operations of the room and related areas. Recommends the area's budget and manages expenses within approved budget constraints. The major areas of responsibility/management include: the front office, guest services, housekeeping, security and gift shop. Participates in total hotel management as a member of the hotel executive committee.
