Engineering Execution within the NASC Engineering team is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Operations Engineers to lead our supply chain execution efforts within our engineering organization. In this key role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to execute key projects aligned to our build plan, automation and retrofit projects to ensure our network capacity is delivered on time and fully utilized.

Engineering Project Alignment: Collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand project requirements, timelines, and resource needs, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Resource Allocation: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely allocation of resources for all engineering projects approved for execution.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans and ensure timely project delivery.
Budget Oversight: Manage project budget, allocating resources effectively to support engineering projects within budget constraints and be responsible for requirements of supplemental funding requirements, if any.
Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, network planning, and other teams to ensure alignment and synergy in projects and initiatives.
Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the capacity delivery and make data-driven decisions.
Travel Requirements : 50%

The Engineering Execution team’s mission is to deliver the NASC Engineering team’s core capacity and cost goals. The team connects the end-to-end process from Design to Launch, providing work-back schedules, visibility and accountability throughout the project life-cycle. As we expand, we are seeking talented and forward-thinking leader to join our dynamic team. You will work with a team of highly skilled and highly engaged engineers in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment. Our team works on hundreds of projects each year. You will be challenged; you will learn; you will work on high impact, high visibility projects; you will grow.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Chicago, IL, USA- 4+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
- Bachelor's degree- Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level
- Experience working with and managing third party vendors
- Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing
