      NASC Engineering is searching for an innovative and solutions-oriented Operations Engineers to lead Material Flow Optimization (MFO) Process initiatives in developing and delivering next generation, world-class sortation and transportation systems. This position will have an impact on both design and process design engineering for the NASC.

      We’re looking to add a handful of high-impact operations engineers to our team. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external teams develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for our sortation and distribution systems. Your projects will be a variety of template-based and designed-from-scratch along with ownership of Process Designs end to end complimenting each Design.

      You will work with a team of highly skilled and highly engaged engineers in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment. Our team works on hundreds of projects each year. You will be challenged; you will learn; you will work on high impact, high visibility projects; you will grow.


      Key job responsibilities
      • Coordinate efforts to develop optimal solutions and processes for the sortation and transportation network through material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
      • Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time.
      • Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.
      • Effective communication skills, ability to execute the vision, detailed roadmap, and specific technical solutions.

      We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

      Dallas, TX, USA | Houston, TX, USA- 5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
      - Bachelor's degree- Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level
      - Experience working with and managing third party vendors
      - Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing

      Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $61,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $126,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
