      Operations Financial Analyst – Raleigh, NC – $28-$34/hour

      Core Experience...

      • 1-2+ years within accounting/financial analysis
      • Experience with debits/credits, accruals, and reclasses
      • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field

      Description: Responsible for creating monthly journal entries in accordance with the monthly close. Assist in maintaining the integrity of the financial statements. Review monthly close data and operational financial statements. Provide support to Region Controllers and to the branches, including assisting branch and regional personnel with any queries.

      · Create and key monthly journal entries for monthly/quarterly/annual close.

      · Work with Region and branch personnel to acquire monthly close data on time

      · Perform detailed financial analysis of cost centers

      · Review financial statements for assigned cost centers

      · Provide financial analysis/support for cost centers

      · Perform complex business and accounting analysis

      · Research and resolve business unit inquiries for assigned functional areas.

      · Create reconciliations

      · Help ensure compliance with internal controls that protect Company assets including cash, inventory, and fixed assets.

      · Work with GL staff members to ensure timely data input, understanding of requirements/due dates

      · Seek ways to maximize efficiency while maintaining accuracy and reliability of work.

      Top Skills Details:

      Excel – ERP Experience (Great Plains or Workday preferred) – Analytical
