Act as an organizational representative presenting the global ministry of Wycliffe and encouraging interested individuals, organizations and churches to participate in the work of Bible translation.
Live out the conviction that “work flows through relationship” by passionately “loving God and loving people” through word and deed. Promote team and organizational culture standards, ensuring high customer service standards.
Collaborate on departmental initiatives to provide a best-in-class experience for Wycliffe USA's future and existing staff. Assist with cross-functional team responsibilities and tactical team and departmental initiatives.
Represent the Global Partnerships Engagement team in meetings, projects, workshops, and partnership efforts, as assigned.
Work alongside the director and other team members to:
Ensure global team members are equipped with the operational support and resources, and the support needed to achieve strategic priorities and goals.
Proactively identify challenges and implement thoughtful, contextualized solutions that enhance support for partners and strengthen team effectiveness.
Design and execute high-impact events that align with strategic priorities and foster meaningful engagement.
Operational Support:
Provide high-level administrative support to the Global Partnerships leadership team, managing high-priority projects, orchestrating key events and ensuring timely and accurate processing of expense reports and other critical tasks.
Serve as a key support and backup to the Director of Operational Services. Support a wide range of operational needs and proactively address emerging priorities or needs.
Oversee multiple inboxes, ensuring timely responses and escalating inquiries with discretion, confidentiality and sound judgment.
Execute responsibilities with precision and timeliness, consistently demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, professionalism and cross-cultural awareness in all interactions.
Build strong relationships with strategic partners to understand needs and offer tailored solutions related to event speakers, resources, and other partnership requests.
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of complex domestic and international events, managing all logistical elements including venue procurement, audiovisual coordination, catering, transportation and guest communication.
Provide onsite event support to ensure smooth execution and a high-quality experience for attendees.
Manage vendor relationships for training and event collateral, ensuring clear communication, on-time delivery, good stewardship and quality execution of print and mail services.
Perform other duties as assigned by Global Partnerships leadership.
Partnership Development: According to the Wycliffe Partnership Development policy, build and retain a team of prayer and financial partners who will sustain you throughout your entire Wycliffe ministry.
Other Requirements: Occasional early morning, evening and weekend events and meetings as required. Up to 20% domestic and international travel. Ability to stand and work long hours during events.
Vaccination Requirement: This role involves international travel to countries that may require specific vaccinations for entry; must be able to comply with all applicable health and travel regulations.

Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience.
Cross-cultural experience is required.
A general understanding of the Wycliffe family of organizations, their partners and the translation process is helpful.

As an operations generalist, you’ll play a vital role in helping Wycliffe accomplish its Bible translation mission by providing strategic operational and administrative support to the Global Partnerships leadership team. Success in this role requires strong interpersonal skills, cross-cultural sensitivity, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision, adaptability, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Your contributions will play a pivotal role in advancing the global work of Bible translation by proactively addressing priorities and supporting a wide range of needs, from project management and event planning to travel coordination and special initiatives. Through your support of field projects, interpreter coordination and cross-functional engagement, you will participate in removing barriers to Scripture access and foster inclusive partnerships that strengthen the global Body of Christ.

Compensation
Wycliffe Bible Translators is a faith-based organization, and as supported staff (missionary) you will receive a non-traditional salary (including benefits and ministry expenses) through the faithful giving of your personal partnership team. We provide extensive training and resources as you build your financial and prayer partnership team.
Non-traditional salaries are needs-based, determined by factors of housing and personal expenses based on geographic location, including dependents and their ages, retirement savings, ministry expenses and taxes. Although salaries vary significantly and it’s not possible to provide an exact number for this position, a typical non-traditional salary for a missionary household is $42,600 to $80,982 annually. These salaries do not include your partnership-raised funds for health insurance, worker’s compensation insurance, or Wycliffe assessment.
