  Position Summary:

  This position will provide a student with the opportunity to apply academic knowledge and skills in a professional environment in the functional area of Operations, and to support/promote career goals through contact with industry professionals

  Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor, analyze and improve KPIs for assigned projects
  • Participate in project teams to facilitate improvements in the areas of safety, quality, cost, and delivery
  • Support and develop Industry 4.0 solutions for monitoring and maintaining manufacturing data
  • Provide support with the creation and implementation of work instructions, visual aids, and visual management in the manufacturing environment
  • Participate in launch activities for new products

  Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any business or engineering field in an accredited program
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong desire to learn
  • Comfortable in a high expectations and fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing concepts and tools
  • Ability to multitask and work within a team
  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

  Preferred Skills and experience:

  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing with applications leading to real-world results
