      Inside the Role

      As an Operations Intern, you can get on track and aim high with Daimler Truck Financial Services. The Operations Team represents the face of Daimler Truck Financial Services to our customers. The intern provides a wealth of professional skill development and we provide the technology and additional training for you to succeed. The position requires a high degree of job independence with success being defined primarily by customer satisfaction. The position offers supports to the Teams within Operations (Credit, Collections, Funding, and the BSO). The intern will also have an opportunity to participate in strategic projects within the department.

      This internship will begin in the fall of 2024 and will last 8-12 months.

      What You Drive at DTFS

      • Work with internal stakeholders and business leads to best define, manage, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
      • Work with interfacing Local Landscape systems (FIPro, ALFA, eCredit Pro, FRAMES,PEGA, eFunding Pro, EFT, ECM, Vertex, Moody’s, WFS, Wholesale) to discuss both production, enhancement & testing issues.
      • Support Operations Teams (Credit, Collections, Funding, Customer Service, BSO) with documentation preparation and financial statement analysis
      • Work in group and individually on projects and analysis of issues to find and present alternative solutions.
      • Work closely with Business Systems experts to understand business impact.
      • Offer alternative views based on analysis and perspective. Use communication and analytical skills to provide mutually beneficial problem resolution.
      • Work closely with Leadership team to present ideas and coordinate activities.

      Knowledge You Should Bring

      • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s/PhD Program in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related from an accredited college/university or have graduated within the last 12 months
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Demonstrates ability to plan, develop and execute on multiple initiatives in a timely manner.
      • Confident and comfortable working in a fast paced environment
      • Proficient in using MS Office programs (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, OneNote & Outlook)
      • Interpersonal skills and able to work in a team environment required.

      Exceptional Candidates Might Have

      • 3.0 GPA or higher strongly preferred
      • Previous experience in the financial services industry will be an asset

      Schedule Type:

      Hybrid (4 days per week in-office / 1 day remote). This schedule builds our #OneTeamBestTeam culture, provides an unparalleled customer experience, and creates innovative solutions through in-person collaboration.
