- Manages and supervises all aspects of the Plant operations including the San Antonio warehouse location.
- Maintains the condition of the plant and its properties, so production objectives can be met and Company assets protected.
- Promotes the Safety, Ergonomic, Sustainability, Environmental and Employee Engagement Programs for the plant.
- Ensures that product produced meets all USDA standards as well as the internal controls in place through HACCP, Standard Sanitation Operation Procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practice programs.
- Recommends quality specifications, products to be manufactured, and production budgets.
- Responsible for overall profitability and expense management of the plant ensuring the effective and efficient use of labor hours, raw materials, in process materials and supplies are used to minimize production costs.
- Coordinates distribution, warehousing, and sales in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Directly supervises the entire plant operations and warehouse management staff. Oversees the staffing of the correct labor force and office staff and assures necessary training and supervision to accomplish the overall objectives in plant profitability and efficiency.
- Holds responsibility for extensively coaching, mentoring and developing all members of the subordinate staff, hourly and salaried.
- Is a champion of our cultural beliefs and utilizes them to drive achievement of our key results.
- As the principal facility manager, cultivates and maintains good company relations with the community and the business area around the city and in the state.
- A bachelor's degree or significant industry experience.
- Proven track record of results in plant supervision, with a minimum of 5 years plant operations experience.
- A pattern of initiative and leadership.
- Strong problem-solving, decision making, and project management skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States

This is the primary position overseeing all manufacturing, shipping and receiving, and warehouse operations at this location.

BENEFITS: Columbus Craft Meats offers an excellent benefits package. The base pay range is $97,000 to $152,000 per year; and this position qualifies for a 15% location premium based on base salary compensation in addition to the base salary compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills set, and level of experience.
