      Position Summary
      The Operations Manager is responsible for supervising all parking areas and parking garages, including security, under the direction of the Director and Associate Director of Parking Services. Provides customer service such as signing up for parking privileges and other functions using the T2 Parking system. The incumbent performs revenue collection activities from T2 APS (Automated Pay Stations) and Luke II Multi-Space Meters and maintains usage and revenue records.

      Supervision and training of parking personnel, inspection of parking areas, compiling and preparation of reports and statistics and other functions necessary to ensure efficient parking operation. Supervises effectively and efficiently, parking for all special events and valet parking, such as basketball games, concerts, commencements, etc. This is a very sensitive area of responsibility because numerous VIPs, Board of Trustees, high ranking officials of the University and the television, newspaper and radio media are among the attendees. Create and maintain event sheet for each Liacouras Garages. Maintain UBIT tax summary and details for all non-sponsored and sponsored events.

      Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

      This is an essential personnel position.

      Required Education and Experience
      * Bachelor’s Degree
      * Plus two (2) years of experience supervising parking garages or similar operations.
      * An equivalent combination of experience may be considered.

      Required Skills and Abilities
      * Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
      * Possess strong administrative capabilities which would include creating and implementing a well-designed systematic process for auditing the attendants’ paperwork. contractor’s timecards, billings, and verification for the janitorial staff.
      * Ability to provide consistent quality customer services.
      * Ability to compile and prepare reports, statistics, and other functions necessary to ensure efficient parking operation.
      * Prior experience ordering and maintaining necessary supplies for all the parking areas.
      * Ability to execute equipment repairs and maintain a current on-hand parts list.

      Preferred
      * Past experience using T2 Parking system or a similar electronic parking management system.
