  SUMMARY

  The Operations Manager is responsible for supervising the preparation and execution of safe and efficient perforating and logging services while ensuring the crews adheres to strict quality standards. This position is also expected to lead by example regarding HSE and client relations as well as Company policies.

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for supervising daily operation and maintenance plan and ensures compliance with operational, quality assurance/quality control, safety, and environmental practices and procedures

  • Acts as the Company representative with local clients
  • Informs customers of any unusual conditions noted at the well, maintains direct contact with customer's representatives throughout the perforating, logging, or any other assigned completion operation; interprets common services in the assigned service area for customers
  • Maintains affirmative company image and confidence in the quality of services provided while maintaining strict confidentiality of customer data
  • Prepares, reviews, and corrects all logs for printing and distribution, depending on customer requirements
  • Promptly and accurately submit all required paperwork, reports, and data to necessary parties
  • Markets and secures additional work with existing and new clients

  • Ensures resources are being utilized cost effectively to achieve site objectives
  • Provides effective counsel and direction, especially where corrective actions are needed
  • Involved in all aspects of hiring, termination, career development, disciplinary action and salary increases for the Wireline/Pumping Operators reporting

  • Ensures compliance with all regulations applicable to Wireline operations
  • Understands and ensures incident reporting procedures are followed

  • Reports unsafe acts and hazardous situations in timely manner
  • Records all maintenance and failure events immediately and accurately in maintenance systems

  • Supports Corporate and Local efforts to minimize general and specific HSE risks and promote respect, understanding and adherence to safety regulations
  • Actively lead and promote a culture of safety and all relevant company policies and procedures

  • Promote/maintain positive and healthy relationships with customers

  • Drive innovation through the development of best practices, operational, and service efficiency as well as the identification of industry trends and tools that would contribute to our operational excellence goals

  • Attends training session for all new techniques in maintenance, loading operations, and technical alerts related to Wireline/Pumping operations
  • Travel up to 75% as needed to the field and meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

  REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • BS/BA Degree or combination of education and equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of progressive work experience working in Wireline Services
  • 5+ years of previous Cased Hole Operations/Pumping Supervisor role is preferred
  • Proven and professional leadership skills and abilities with supervisory responsibilities
  • Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple/conflicting priorities with a strong track record of delivery
  • Ability to manage and develop assigned wireline crews
  • Ability to set the example of integrity and honesty for all employees

  COMPUTER

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
