      Operations Program Manager

      The OPM role includes aspects of program, project, and product management and requires a good understanding of operations. This role is a support function and the core, global operations teams are the primary customers with a large and dynamic partner group. This position focuses on continuous improvement, automation, the voice of the customer/client, and supporting the core operations team with focus on efficiency, simplification, quality and effectiveness. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Operations Program Management . We will consider applicants in North America .

      What You'll Do:

      Evaluate current operations capabilities, identify the greatest areas of opportunities, and build a prioritized execution plan and roadmap with a focus on existing platforms and p roducts .

      Capability areas include:

      • Learning and Development :

      • Build content and training to support product and platform initiatives. Ensure information is up to date and accurately represents current processes , policies and standards.

      • Work with Product team to evaluate and implement learning tools and solutions for O perations.

      • Focus on training for operational teams to align with changes in tools and campaign workflow .

      • Reporting :

      • Spearhead reporting and critical metric measurement, capabilities, and automation for owned products and platforms. F ollow a mechanism for tracking investments, efficiencies, and improvements.

      • Tools/Systems Management :

      • Lead efforts to understand tools and systems dependencies and craft processes for incident response and requirement tracking.

      • Process Management :

      • Build and execute an ongoing roadmap for delivery of improvements in the end-to-end processes a cross Operations .

      • Set timelines and manage expectations with all internal stakeholders and external partners .

      • Change and Project Management :

      • Implement light change and project management process for the team.

      • Facilitate the identification of product, policy, and system gaps and drive improvements to resolution with the necessary teams and partners.

      • Subject Matter Expert:

      • Primary point of contact for the Product team regarding owned product and platforms, representing the requirements of the functional team and customers/clients. Understand the technology, processes, and standard methodologies for these products/platforms.

      • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and technology trends and bring this knowledge back into the business to drive improvements and help craft operations strategy.

      • T op Issues Management and Continuous Improvement

      • Centralize and track issues that are affecting Media Solutions globally with a focus on Operations .

      • Identify top impacting issues and/or opportunities for continuous improvement and prioritize accordingly.

      • Understand and address the impact of each issue e.g. revenue impacting, user experience, level of effort, etc.

      • Deliver solutions to drive efficiency gains for Operations functional teams.

      As part of the role, collaborate with your manager and other stakeholders to evaluate organizational needs based on the most pressing areas of focus for the group. Execute on the busi n ess plan for future investment.

      • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to carefully handle expectations across constituencies.

      • Strong knowledge of Expedia, Media Solutions ad products and processes

      • Understanding of testing framework, and tracking milestones

      • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving team environment

      • A love of meeting – and beating – deadlines

      • High attention to detail, highly organized and efficient

      • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks without supervision

      • Positive relationships and cross-functional coordination are keys to your success

      • An attitude of continuous improvement and inclusivity

      Qualifications:

      • 4+ years operations experience, with 2+ years in ad operations

      • 5+ years’ experience working in a global, multicultural organization

      • Preferred experience working in 5 of the following 7 areas: learning and development, reporting, content management, tools and systems management, process management, vendor management and procurement, and change and project management.

      • Bachelor's degree preferred

      The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $104,000 to $145,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $166,500, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

      The total cash range for this position in Seattle and Austin is $110,500 to $155,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $177,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

      The total cash range for this position in Miami is $104,000.00 to $145,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $166,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

      Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
