      Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 19:00 – 05:30 (40 hours per week - possible *rotation available)

      Key responsibilities:

      • Confirming all CAO / Radioactive freight and arranging correct units for each flight with the sort
      • Monitoring of inbound flights / trucks for dangerous goods ‘DG’ freight
      • Understanding and gaining knowledge of NMIV system
      • Transferring all data onto the relevant NOTOC’s ex EMA
      • Keying DG paperwork onto RCTS
      • Cross-referencing DG keyed on by service centres to ensure information is correct
      • Checking the scanning and flagging is correct for all DG, Dry ice, Radioactive and AVI freight
      • Imaging all DG paperwork to ensure Global SOP compliance
      • Confirm accounts are approved to ship DG using Account Approval System
      • Ensure all nightly, weekly and monthly reports are completed in a timely manner
      • Assist other UK & IE Hubs & Gateways as and when required
      • Attend and pass a 2-yearly IATA DGR course
      • Ensuring full compliance with Health and Safety, Environmental and other regulatory requirements
      • Investigating all internal incidents and errors
      • Completing and investigating RCIR and CAA reports
      • Monitoring the FAB and compliance activity of ACS material for KPIs
      • Ensuring all parcels are checked properly via check points
      • LRT monitoring head counts and pieces
      • Delivering feedback to staff
      • Involvement in staff training

      You’ll bring to this role:

      • Confident and effective verbal and written communication skills
      • Excellent people skills
      • Organised
      • Methodical, analytical and organisational abilities, paying close attention to detail
      • The ability to remain calm and focused, particularly whilst under pressure in time sensitive situations
      • Flexibility – this is essential due to operational requirements
      • ACS knowledge and DG awareness beneficial
      • An awareness of all freight routings beneficial
      • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and DHL systems beneficial
      • Knowledge of NOTOC, Dry-ice and all other DHL procedures is desirable (training will be provided)
