- Execute time-sensitive daily transactional tasks in a complete and accurate manner*
- Review and analyze client invoices to ensure proper information is captured for successful carrier approval*
- Process client parcel claims in compliance with company policies and departmental standard operating procedures*
- Will require complex data entry into various data systems quickly and with precision*
- Maintain good working relationships with clients, carriers, peers, and cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and exceptional customer service*
- Answer product and service-related questions from internal and external sources*
- Actively seek out process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency
- Must be a quick learner and be mathematically inclined
- Possess a curious approach towards problem-solving and a desire to grow and learn
- Able to identify and see a reported problem through resolution with a heightened sense of urgency
- Ability to prioritize tasks as requested, while maintaining an elevated level of accuracy
- Team player who can also produce independent results
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Solutions-focused mindset as this role will be providing answers to our clients and their carriers on assigned parcel claims portfolio
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Google applications
- High school diploma or GED required

Sifted is looking for a highly detailed Operations Specialist to join our Claims team. The position requires the individual to work with a number of different clients as well as carriers to ensure the timely processing of claims when shipments are lost or damaged during transit. This position will be a full-time role based remotely, with occasional work required at our office located in the Kansas City Metro area.
This individual must have a passion for digging into the details, accuracy, and possess a “get things done” mentality. This role requires critical thinking, organization, and adherence to tight deadlines.
