      Operations is the heart and soul of everything Amazon does. It is thanks to effective operations that items are processed and dispatched to our customers on time. Being an Operations Lead/Supervisor gives you the chance to see how all the different parts of operations work and play a role in making sure everything runs smoothly.

      You’ll be the first point of contact for team members during their shift and help them follow the processes that your managers have put in place. This is a hands-on role, which will give you experience in using the tools and systems that make our operations successful.

      Key job responsibilities
      · To support local ops to improve merchant related metrics with the most important being Quality and delivery in store ops.
      · Take ownership of identifying and reporting to your direct manager on site store related issues.
      · Monitor merchant escalations in chime and support dive deep where applicable finally resolving via Area Manager on long term issues.
      · Visit daily/weekly 3P stores in your region as required, audits process compliance, executes changes on the floor and identify operational issues that are reflected in the metrics
      · Update and modify existing SOPs for new processes 3P program improvements / developments with merchant.
      · Take control and ownership of all non-inventory ordering and replenishment for 3P stores in your region.
      · Escalate any Morrisons on the floor issues and link with the local Area Manager for tactical day to day executions.
      · Support the roll out and implementation of new initiatives and process roll outs
      · Lead and support new store launches
      · Support the launches of new 3P stores

      A day in the life
      As an Operations Lead/Supervisor, you’ll be based in one of our operational sites. You’ll support your Shift/Area Manager to carry out the plan for the shift. That will involve helping with pre-shift meetings with your team and monitoring procedures to make sure everyone is following safety rules, quality processes, and the priority plan for the day.

      You’ll escalate any issues you spot to your manager, but sometimes you’ll be the most senior person on shift and will give people the direction they need to complete their tasks. At other times, you’ll support your Shift/Area Manager in planning shifts to make sure you have enough team members working during peak times.

      We are the heartbeat of the 3P replenishment process Centrally raise POs and co-ordinate the replenishment of all essential non-inventory shipping supplies including Chill chain. We base our orders on forecasts and continuously look for opportunities to optimize frugality, scalability and efficiency in our processes.

      Relevant experience working with data analytics and using these metrics to identify problems

      Experience of stakeholder management including building and maintaining professional relationships
