Job Description
- Req#: JR0105069
- Execute Quality Assurance programs (GMP, CFIA, etc.)
- Ensure optimum shift productivity through communication and monitoring of KPI targets and results
- Support training and communication of SOPs to relevant employees as required
- In collaboration with DO, monitor application of SOPs
- Organize staff training and development including equipment operating safety procedures
- Monitor performance and conduct annual performance reviews and/ or performance improvement plans as required
- Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints and grievances
- Communicate safety policies in accordance with applicable federal safety standards and local laws
- Support special projects and assignments
- Maintains communications with other departments with regard to any problem related to his/her sector
- Maintains excellent working environment focused on teamwork and open communication
- Support and promote engagement through the Employee Opinion Survey results.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree an asset
- Knowledge of Health Canada’s GMP Regulations an asset
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite : Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Distribution Operations an asset
- Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working within in a unionized environment;
- 1-2 years supervisory experience an asset
- Proven ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure
- Strong problem solving and decision making abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration capabilities

As an Operations Supervisor, you will be required to supervise a team of unionized employees, ensuring the logistical coordination and optimum productivity of the shift. This includes (but is not limited to) the supervision of shipping and receiving, stock maintenance and picking, health and safety procedures and ensuring adherence to McKesson’s standard operating procedures.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
