The Operations Support Analyst plays a critical role in reviewing and improving cross-team processes to ensure efficient, compliant, and up-to-date procedures are in place. They collaborate with various departments and are a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on new and existing business processes. The analyst ensures processes are well-documented and effectively executed, collaborating with necessary partners to implement and update process documentation. The role also focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, supporting staff training, and ensuring regulatory compliance across operational activities.
What you will do here:
Coordinate with Retail/Back Office and project stakeholders to develop and maintain processes and procedures for both new and existing organizational products and services. Focus on developing processes that ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation while providing an excellent member experience. Collaborate across departments to refine processes that support business growth, ensuring procedures remain aligned with organizational objectives. Develop communications to enhance stakeholder acceptance.
Design, develop, and maintain functional test plans for retail systems, applications, and ongoing activities. Be a subject matter expert in retail and back office related functions, ensuring processes are well-documented and operating as designed. Troubleshoot complex issues, identifying requirements for fixes or enhancements. Work alongside technical teams to address system discrepancies and implement necessary changes.
Build and maintain professional relationships to facilitate the smooth exchange of information across departments. Support various lines of business in developing training materials, job aids, tutorials, and marketing resources. Identify needs from cross-functional teams, consistently review content, and gather feedback from end-users to ensure resources are up-to-date and effective.
Work closely with Learning & Development to create and refine curriculum that aligns with operational objectives. Ensure training content is relevant and up to date. Provide support and training to staff on operational procedures, tools, and best practices to enhance productivity and ensure compliance with company standards.
Respond to internal customer inquiries or issues related to operational processes. Maintain a high level of service and satisfaction across internal teams. Collaborate with Compliance to ensure all operational activities are compliant with regulations and standards, while identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
What you will need:
High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years related experience working on project teams required.
2+ years having worked in a Financial Institution required.
1+ year working with Core Financial system (KeyStone preferred) required.
1+ year experience working with test systems (Sandbox) preferred.
1+ years experience working with project plan and document sharing systems (SharePoint and Jira preferred) preferred.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work autonomously to drive initiatives forward required.
Demonstrated ability to navigate difficult conversations with cross-functional teams required.
Ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships with cross-functional teams required.
Excellent written and verbal communications required.
Demonstrated knowledge of how financial institutions operate; cross department training is a plus preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of financial products and services; retail banking required.
Strong decision-making skills required.
Technical aptitude to assess functionality of systems and procedures required.
Demonstrated ability to effectively work autonomously required.
Strong ability to effectively collaborate with others required.
Demonstrated ability to pivot and multi-task required.
