      Operations Technician, Nursery Design

      YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      The primary responsibilities of this role, Operations Technician Nursery Design, are to:

      • Record data, execute data queries, upload and maintaining corporate databases to generate reports to enable nursery operations and data analysis;
      • Transform large amounts of diverse data into descriptive operational actions using analytical and IT tools;
      • Comply with Bayer policies, safety and quality standard;
      • Enter data to enable nursery operations within time limits;
      • Compile, verify accuracy and sorting information to prepare data for computer entry;
      • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output prior nursery. operation execution;
      • Organize, Support and present product HO evaluations and coordinate with key stakeholders, all HO related activities to deliver our products successfully to Testing, Product Supply and/or across TPD NA/PR region;
      • Collaborate with Managers and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement/optimization in nursery operations;
      • Propose and incorporate mitigation plans and execution based on data analysis and data-driven decisions. Apply science and analytical techniques to support development of new solutions that can be incorporated in to planning and nursery operations;
      • Interact with Planning & Optimization Team and reinforce the development of strategical plans and visualizations in response to variations on current business models including resources forecast and allocation;
      • Monitor and record KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions in Nursery Design operations and Planning.

      Required Qualifications:

      • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences, Breeding, Computer Science, Statistics, Industrial or Computer Engineering or related fields;
      • Prior work experience in data management and proven analytical skills and orientation to details;
      • Fluent on Spanish and English language, written and conversational;
      • Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative team-based environment;
      • Proficiency in usage of IT tools, advance handling of Microsoft Office such Excel, PowerPoint, etc.;
      • Ability to critically think about the business.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • 3+ years of work experience in data management and proven analytical skills and orientation to details.
