      A large and prestigious Biotech company in Sorrento Valley is looking to hire an Operations Test Associate. If you have a background/experience in any discipline of science and have excellent communication, testing, lab work, and QC skills, this is a great opportunity!       Responsibilities

      Skillset Matrix Manager Notes:
      Technology Requirements (I.E Programs, systems, etc) Microsoft Outlook, Excel, & Word, LIMS experience a plus.

      What does a typical day look like? (daily tasks) The first phase of the position is focused on training and proficiency. Once established, the associate will conduct assays to determine if products meet QC specifications. Each test can take 0.5 to 1 day. Data analysis for a test can take 0.5 to 1 day. The position also calls for maintaining inventory and lab & instrument maintenance.

      Preferred background/prior work experience? Bachelor's degree in scientific field; at least one-year paid work in a scientific/molecular laboratory; pipette experience a plus; GLP, GDP, & GMP knowledge a plus; aseptic technique, manual dexterity.

      Priority soft skills: Effective verbal and digital communication, professional work etiquette, increase breadth of personal training to support product availability, demonstrates strong peer to peer communication, calm under pressure, team oriented, detail oriented, productive, honest.
