Job Description

• The Challenge:

To transport earthmoving machinery and equipment to and from mining sites and maintenance workshops in SCM with the mine and or town lowbed. Perform lowbed escort duties with the lowbed LDV. Perform prestart checks and basic preventative mechanical service tasks. Record all moves and communicate moves daily with all stakeholders. This position falls within SCM EMV section.

Qualifications

The Ideal Applicant:

• Grade 10 (24 points over 7 subjects, and an E symbol in English) or N1 & N2 or NQF level 2&3
• Valid extra heavy duty Driver’s License/Code 11/CE (for Goods and Passengers Manual Transmission).
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP) / Professional Authorization (PA) – Required and renewal annually for driving of trucks and transportation of goods and passengers.
• A minimum of three (3) years experience will be considered as well as completion of the multi-skilled operator training
• All candidates will be required to go for Vienna Dover / Relevant Assessment (As per Company Policy) and Medical assessment.
