  Job Description

  We are seeking dedicated candidates to assist with machine operating at our Detroit facility for a production project in Three Rivers. This role involves operating CNC machines and presses, assembling parts, and ensuring quality control.

  Responsibilities

  • Load and unload CNC machines or presses.
  • Use hand tools to assemble parts on a line.
  • Measure parts to ensure they are within tolerance.
  • Add covers to finished axles before they go through the paint line.

  Essential Skills

  • Prior manufacturing experience in a production environment.
  • Experience operating a machine, including starting it, loading parts, and visually inspecting for defects.
  • Possession of steel-toed boots/shoes.
  • Proven attendance record validated by references.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior CNC experience is preferred.

  Work Environment

  The work environment is a clean and well-lit warehouse/production floor where safety is prioritized. The dress code includes jeans, a shirt with no logos or vulgar language, and steel-toed boots. The position requires working the third shift from Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, with mandatory overtime.

  Job Type & Location

  This is a Contract position based out of Detroit, Michigan.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75/hr.
