Must follow SOP’s/POP’s and all other procedures in every detail, including safety policies.

Follow instruction and directives as assigned by Crew Leads and Supervisors.

Is directly responsible for the precious metal being worked on.

Perform material tracking as related to specific processes.

Participate in end of shift turnovers with ability to effectively communicate in English.

Ability to wear required PPE including respirators.
-
Ability to operate and maintain equipment to company standards and safety standards.
-
Must operate equipment (for example, pumps, GLV’s, filter presses, pan filters, reactors, valves, pH probes, ovens, forklifts, etc) in a reasonable and self-sustaining manner.

Perform operator base equipment safety inspection and production area maintenance duties.

Must notify Supervisor immediately of any deviations from normal operations.

Working knowledge and understanding of one or more of the processes within the department.

High School Diploma
-
1 to 3 years experience in basic chemical operations or related experience required. This is not an entry-level position.

The primary responsibility of this position is to operate chemical processes and equipment correctly, while meeting production goals and expectations on a consistent basis, while maintaining compliance of Environmental, Health & Safety Standards.
