Job Description

Handle manual or operational tasks in the Quality Control Labs as per guidelines, ensuring smooth and efficient operational processes.
Operate within defined procedures with minimal decision-making, requiring technical skills, adherence to procedures, and precision.
Perform inspection, testing, and analysis of products and raw materials to ensure they meet required specifications and standards.
Report test results accurately and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure the seamless integration of lab results into the manufacturing process.
The operator must be able to lift objects up to 65 lbs.
Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training.
Meet individual job requirements and contribute to the overall compliance of the organization by committing to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
The ability to read, write, understand, and communicate fluently in English
Work hours: Monday – Friday; 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM CST

This role is part of Alcon's Quality & Regulatory Affairs function, a team that ensures our products are in compliance with global, local, and internal regulations and meet the strictest standards of quality as we help people see brilliantly.
The Operator I, Quality Control Labs (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for handling manual or operational tasks in the Quality Control Labs to ensure smooth and efficient processes. You will inspect, test, and analyze products and raw materials using various analytical techniques and lab equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams at the ASPEX Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, TX.In this role, a typical day will include:
