      Core Responsibilities:

      • Setting up the production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders
      • Operating the equipment safely and effectively for production processing
      • Ensure that equipment are maintained in good and safe working condition
      • Inspect equipment to identify any required replacements, malfunctions and repairs
      • Monitoring the process outcome to ensure production capacity and quality
      • Support operators in their assigned responsibilities
      • Repair and clean the equipment when needed
      • Work under the guidance of Supervisor to perform and complete the assigned duties in timely manner
      • Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements
      • Operate, if needed, trucks, cranes and other industrial vehicles to transfer the production equipment between warehouse and working area
      • Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation
      • Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety
      • Contribute to waste management programs
      • Identify and report unsafe operations to Supervisor immediately
      • Maintain the work area and ensure it is clean, safe, and organized

      General Responsibilities:

      • Sufficient knowledge of area SOPs and work instructions
      • LOTO trained
      • Crane Certification
      • Forklift Certification
      • Trained in burning and welding

      Specific Responsibilities:

      • Perform every job /task according safety regulations (LOTO / PPE etc.)
      • Keep Work area organized and clean (housekeeping / 5s)
      • Conduct / participate LOTO
      • Report any safety hazardous immediately
      • Report any environmental incident immediately (e.g. spills)
      • Attend safety training or safety meetings.
      • Perform visual and hands on inspections on new and used roll equipment.
      • Grease Equipment in assigned area

      Job Requirements:

      • High School Diploma/ GED
      • Significant experience in an manufacturing environment (at least 3 years);
      • Control room operations experience required;
      • General hot rolling experience is preferred, seamless experience is a plus;
      • Basic understanding of automated processes is a must;
      • Excellent communication skills;
      • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationshp, teamwork spirit and able to work in shifts
      • Strong safety awareness and experience;
