  Bender Machine Operator

  Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for an Bender Machine Operator. This position will use a tube bending machine.

  What you will be doing:

  • Check all guards are in place and functioning as required.
  • Verify that the product being placed is the correct material before starting.
  • Follow ALL safety procedures for the operation of the press.
  • Operator is responsible for keeping the work area clean and clutter free.

  The skills and experience you need:

  • High School diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Capable of operating equipment safely and according to the manufacturers recommended methods.
  • Ability to read a tape measure in increments of 1/16”.
  • Can read and understand engineering drawings of various products.
  • Familiar with basic machine operation.
  • Able to troubleshoot material and dimensional issues when necessary.
  • Familiar with small hand tools. (crescent wrenches, open end wrenches, hex key, ratchet/sockets, etc.)
  • Able to lift and move 10 to 50 pounds continuously for a 10 to 12 hour shift.
