- Lead Mechanical Engineering workstreams for electromechanical sensor integration onto wearable hardware, ensuring all mechanical aspects of development, performance and reliability are met ensuring program success.
- Work across a full technology and product development cycle to deliver robust mechanical designs from concept to production.
- Partner with cross-functional researchers and engineers develop wearable architectures for AR/VR interaction.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to produce high-quality prototypes which meet project specifications.
- Design and develop rapid prototypes of mechanical components for AR products, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate AR modules and system level prototypes, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Design and develop wearable devices that meet project requirements, including mechanical design, prototyping, and testing.
- Integrate mechanical components with other systems, such as electrical and software components, to ensure smooth operation and optimal performance.
- Conduct testing and validation of mechanical
- Designs and prototypes to ensure they meet project specifications and requirements.
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- 3+ years of experience in 3D CAD modeling (NX, Creo, SolidWorks)
- 5+ years of advanced design or R&D experience with electromechanical sensors
- Demonstrated experience to apply first principles to complex technical problems
- Demonstrated experience with manufacturing techniques (machining, 3D printing, injection molding, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience with PCB/PCBA, FPC/FPCA design and integration
- Experience with NX CAD
- Strong experience in mechanical design, including 3D CAD modeling and prototyping.
- Knowledge of various manufacturing methodologies, such as machining, 3D printing, injection molding, and others NX CAD software and thermal management principles and practices, which can be beneficial in designing and developing AR products.
