Main duties of the job
As a GOC registered Optometrist, you will work within our full range of Ophthalmology services running your own clinics and supporting our central surgical and outpatient hub in Rochdale, contributing to the effective running of all our consultant led clinical activity.
This is an exciting role for an Optometrist who is keen to develop and take on more clinical duties alongside using already established experience to manage a range of conditions.
This role does require some travel which will generally be across our North West regional mobile units, there is however flexibility with working hours and shift pattern, we would welcome those who want to strive for an improved work life balance. Sited mainly in Rochdale there could also be Optometrist clinics run within the Preston area and other Greater Manchester sites including Tameside and Bury.
About us
We are looking for optometrists with Hospital experience to join our team. Glaucoma qualifications would be an advantage.
