      We are seeking an Oracle APEX Application Developer to be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying and supporting business related applications/solutions for Global Casino Operations primarily using Oracle Application Express (APEX).

      Work with the Analytics team to intake requirements from external groups and coordinate design and development of solutions geared towards process improvement. Managing day-to-day relationships with application users and developing an understanding of their business unit’s long-term business needs while translating that understanding into serviceable applications.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

      • Architect/design business solutions which allow ease of augmenting and enhancing such solutions in the future
      • Continuously enhance, tune, and optimize developed business solutions for efficiency and top performance gains
      • Keep abreast of technological advancements/changes in both Cruise and Maritime industries as well as Oracle and related technologies
      • No or very little travel likely

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science
      • Master of Science in technical field and/or MBA preferred
      • More than 5 years of development experience with Oracle APEX
      • Capable of designing and building user friendly, modern looking Oracle APEX applications thinking about end-user experience and designing solutions to maximize user efficiency
      • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
      • Willingness to seek out creative solutions
      • Maintain documentation on all work products and code bases
      • Ability to truly internalize the business need of a solution and build toward a functional goal
      • An awareness of data privacy, security concerns, and possible vulnerabilities
      • Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, responsible team-player
      • Excellent communications skills
      • Ability to work with a cross-functional array of teams, technical and non-technical
      • Experience developing Oracle APEX applications, Advanced PL/SQL and Database skills, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, CSS & HTML
      • Experience developing and integrating systems using REST APIs

      The range for this role’s base salary is $100,000 - $135,000. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
