      Position: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer

      Locations: Remote

      Duration: Contract

      Job Description:

      Looking for a resource to work with our customer to understand the existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads. Understand and document technical requirements from clients. Understand and implement the Migration strategy to move applications to the IaaS/PaaS. Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Create bill of materials, including required Cloud Services and tools. Deployment of the l Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc. Following the design documents provided implement the Cloud network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets. Implement the HA / DR strategies Set up process, services and tools around cloud. Execute migration plan. Validate the environment to meets all security and compliance controls. Have good knowledge on OCI Security Components like OCI WAF, Network Firewall, Vault etc.

      Required Qualifications:

      • 5+ years’ experience in supporting highly customer-focused mission critical environments (e.g. high-profile internet based applications or enterprise infrastructure) is essential.
      • 5+ years’ experience of engineering, architecting, or supporting Oracle IaaS/PaaS solutions.
      • Knowledgeable in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure service components
      • Experience of implementing and supporting OCI based instances and services (e.g. Compute, Network, Ravello, Dockers, DBCS, ExaCS, ADW, ATP etc.).
      • Experience of building and maintaining scalable and auto-scaled environments using automation and configuration management tools (e.g. Terraform/Ansible/Puppet/Chef)
      • Ability to work on multiple challenging projects in parallel.
      • Experience of Continuous Integration and technology advantageous
      • Hold current Oracle Cloud Architect Professional Level Certification

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • 5+ Years of Oracle Technology project implementation and/or production support experience
      • 5+ years of Cloud Infrastructure implementation and/or support experience (OCI preferably)
      • System Integrator Consulting Experience

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Serve as a technical expert performing integration development and implementation.
      • Code/develop/configure robust, configurable, and scalable solutions that fulfill customer needs and resolve user issues.
      • Ensure non-functional requirements are incorporated into solutions such as performance and availability.
      • Understand functional requirements and business needs and fully incorporate them into high-quality, low-defect solutions.
      • Support functional and technical testing.
      • Plan and execute deployments and releases.
      • Implement and support data transmission solutions using modern technologies including APIs
      • Analyze behind the scenes data using SQL queries.
      • Utilize application of modern software engineering practices to ensure high-quality solution outcomes.
      • Create reusable, shared code whenever possible.
      • Quickly identify defect root causes and drive towards resolution
      • Uses critical thinking mindset to ensure all possible outcomes are accounted for in preventing operational issues (I.e. failure points)

      Required Qualifications:

      • 4+ years of Oracle Cloud experience including Oracle Integration Cloud
      • 4+ years of hands-on Oracle Cloud integration development experience
