      Fulltime Position


      Key Responsibilities:

      • Oracle RAC 19c Configurations: Set up, manage, and troubleshoot Oracle RAC 19c configurations to ensure high availability and performance. Incorporate Oracle RAC best practices.
      • SQL Tuning: Optimize SQL queries and indexing strategies to enhance database performance. Perform detailed SQL tuning to ensure efficient query execution.
      • Multitenant Architecture: Implement and manage Multitenant architecture for better resource utilization and management. Ensure optimal performance and security of pluggable databases.
      • SGA and PGA Management: Appropriately size the Shared Global Area (SGA) and Program Global Area (PGA). Implement Automatic Memory Management to optimize database performance.
      • IAAS Implementation: Architect and manage Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS) solutions, including deployment, configuration, and ongoing support.
      • Automatic VM Failure Detection: Implement and manage automatic virtual machine (VM) failure detection mechanisms to ensure high availability.
      • Auto Scaling, Auto Healing, Auto Recovery: Design and implement auto scaling, auto healing, and auto recovery solutions to maintain system resilience and performance.
      • Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity. Recommend solutions for resilience or disaster recovery (DR).
      • Server Health and Performance Monitoring: Monitor server health and performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources to ensure availability and efficiency. Troubleshoot instance initialization, redo log files, and control files.
      • Third-Party Software Installations: Manage the installation and configuration of third-party software to meet business requirements. Troubleshoot using monitoring tools.
      • OS Upgrades and Patches: Perform operating system upgrades and implement patches to maintain system security and performance.
      • Monitoring Tools: Utilize existing third-party monitoring tools like Splunk or Squared Up to enhance system monitoring and reduce manual intervention.
      • Database Segregation: Segregate application databases to improve resiliency and performance.

      Experience:

      • Typically requires 15+ years of experience in managing IAAS environments, including hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and customization of IAAS features.
      • Extensive experience with Oracle RAC 19c and SQL tuning.
      • Experience in managing and optimizing Shared Global Area (SGA) and Program Global Area (PGA).
      • Experience with disaster recovery implementations and reducing Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).

      Technical Skills:

      • Proficiency in IAAS solutions and related technologies.
      • Good knowledge of Ansible is essential for automation tasks.
      • Experience with disaster recovery implementations.
      • Strong skills in server health and performance monitoring.
      • Proficiency in third-party software installations.
      • Experience with OS upgrades and patches.
      • Expertise in Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) 19c and SQL tuning.
      • Familiarity with third-party monitoring tools like Splunk or Squared Up.
      • Knowledge of Multitenant architecture.
      • Excellent performance tuning skills.
      • Ability to debug system-side configuration issues.

      • Ability to mentor and train junior associates on IAAS-related tasks.
