  Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer

  Location: Richmond, VA

  Duration: Contract

  Note:

  • Local Richmond candidates or candidates willing to relocate to Richmond due to onsite work requirement
  • Webcam and ONSITE interviews
  • Candidates must be willing and able to work onsite 2 days/week for the first couple of weeks, and 1-2 days/week thereafter.

  Description:

  • Experienced PL/SQL developer with skills in Oracle coding
  • Must also have ability to do data analysis, develop requirements and data models.
  • Must have background in application backend support, Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL server development.
  • Must have a background in building interfaces between business applications.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum process is highly desired.
  • Ability to communicate with business users and developers is an absolute must.
  • Clear communication skills - written and oral is REQUIRED.

  Skills:

  • Experience working with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server Database Development - 10 years
  • Written and oral communications - 10 years
  • Background in data integration between business systems - 8 years
  • Write and maintain/extend existing PL/SQL code to convert initial data sets, system enhancements, reports production, and improved transaction editing - 8 years
  • Requirements analysis and data modeling - 6 Years
  • Experience with other data integration tools and techniques including IBM Datastage,web services, messaging and other modern data warehousing - 6 years
