- Tier One Technologies has an immediate need for an Oracle/AI Developer to support our US Government client.
- This will be a 100% remote contract-to-hire position.
- SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.
- Create and maintain web pages using Oracle MOD PL/SQL packages.
- Maintain the existing applications and enhance the system as per client requirements.
- Modify existing batches to incorporate new functionalities.
- Analyze system issues and devise and execute remediation plans.
- Perform code reviews and bug fixing.
- Conduct performance tuning of existing queries and packages.
- Comply with all required standards and processes and devise approaches to ensure compliance across the team.
- Provide complete technical and maintenance support to the systems.
- Run the assigned projects solo as well as working as a team.
- Provide round-the-clock support as needed for the assigned tasks.
- Interact directly with the customer on behalf of the team to resolve issues or identify new requirements to be addressed by the team.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, database design and administration.
- 8+ years of PL/SQL development experience.
- Expertise in creating and maintaining complex PL/SQL code/packages spanning multiple schemas.
- Extensive Oracle database experience.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle, Java (Spring Framework), PL/SQL, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, JSON, SQL Developer, JDeveloper, Shell Scripting, UNIX, and Linux.
- UNIX, MS Windows Server experience.
- Proficiency with UNIX Shell scripting.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools for enhanced productivity.
- Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
- Be able to pass a drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks.
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
- Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
- Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
