What you'll be doing

Orderlies undertake transportation of patients, documents, equipment, specimens etc. as well as provide assistance to direct patient care.

Orderlies are rostered on a 24/7 basis. These include being rostered onto after hours shifts consisting of afternoons, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Selection Criteria

1. Ability to demonstrate effect communicate skills with patients, visitors, staff and Managers
2. Demonstrated knowledge of Work Health and Safety, Manual Handling and Infection control principles
3. Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse physically challenging position/workload
4. Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to read and write in English
5. Ability to the use of electronic devices as part of the Orderly Departments tasking system
6. Ability to complete tasks either in a team environment or unsupervised all within a measurable timeframe
