      Position Overview:

      Provides change management consultation, guidance and support throughout the plan, design, implementation and measurement phases of change initiatives. Assigned to one or more project teams to facilitate a smooth transition of the people aspects of a change process including changes to business processes, systems, technology, job roles, organizational structures, and integrations. Designs and executes change management plans that minimize resistance and maximize employee engagement and change capacity. Advises leadership and project teams on effective change strategy. Completes a range of functions associated with the people aspects of planned changes including stakeholder identification, impact analysis, communication & training plans, organization and job design, business readiness assessments and change measurement. Acts independently as a coach for senior leaders and executives to help them fulfill the role of change sponsor. May provide direct support and coaching to frontline managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. Applies fully proficient change management skills using Sutter Health’s Prosci change methodology to deliver target change management outcomes. Delivers workshops and facilitation sessions to leadership teams and their organizational areas for organizational and team effectiveness, team restructures and transitions, culture and team dynamics, and change leadership and effectiveness using tools including 5Dynamics/Simpli5 and the Results Pyramid.

      Job Description:

      This is a two year, limited term role.


      EDUCATION:
      Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

      Bachelor's: Business Management, Organizational Development, Healthcare or other related field or equivalent education/experience


      CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

      PMP-Project Management Professional

      OR Change Management


      TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
      5 years of recent relevant experience.


      SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

      Change management - solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process

      Demonstrated skill in project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle

      Solid understanding of process improvement methodologies

      Familiarity with business process redesign and reengineering in healthcare settings

      Knowledge of effective leadership and employee engagement strategies

      Demonstrate broad strategic thinking, with clear vision and direction for change management strategies

      Demonstrated skill in facilitating and developing highly effective teams

      Exceptional interpersonal, written/ verbal communication and presentation skills

      Ability to instill trust, provide direction, delegate responsibilities and solve complex problems independently

      Ability to adjust to changing circumstances, use independent judgment and think creatively

      Synthesizes findings from assessments/measurements and develops optimal solutions

      Team player with demonstrated ability to work independently, with, and through others

      Skills to positively influence others to move toward a common vision/ goal and support achievement of desired outcomes

      Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, analytical, project management and presentation applications.

      Pay Range is $52.01 to $78.03 / hour. Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas Pay Range is $35.17 to $52.75 / hour. Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah Pay Range is $31.26 to $46.89 / hour.

      The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
