      Beth Israel Deaconess Milton (CPA) is seeking full-time, Orthopedic Surgical Physician Assistant (PA). The Orthopedic Physician Assistant will be a clinical provider and team member for the treatment and management of the orthopedic surgical patients in the pre, peri and post-operative setting primarily covering patients of the CPA Orthopedic Physicians. Responsible for the initial assessment and admission of patients; to assist in the evaluation and preparation of patients for surgery, to act as first/second assistant in the OR and to care for patients following surgery.

      This is a full-time, 40-45 hours per week position (Monday through Friday), 5 shifts varying in duration from 5-12 hours in duration. Day to day hours will be flexible depending on clinical needs of the practice. Salary will be based on years of experience as a PA.

      Required Qualifications:

      § BS/BA degree and a graduate of a Physician Assistant program.
      § Current license in good standing by the MA Board of Physician Assistant and must apply and be approved for credentialing at BID-Milton.
      § Minimum of one years' experience as an Orthopedic Physician required.
      § Current ACLS.
