      Schedule: Full Time

      Shift: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

      Location: 601 East Altamonte Springs, FL

      • • Located north of Orlando in the community of Altamonte Springs, our facility is consistently named “Best Hospital” for overall quality, reputation, doctors and nurses by local residents

      The role you’ll contribute:

      • Provides routine designated tasks related to the efficient and cost-effective operation of the department. Is part of an interdisciplinary team assisting with patient care. Adheres to the Facility Corporate Compliance Plan, to the rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies, and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

      The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

      • Responds to orders in a timely manner, per department guidelines
      • Supplies and applies soft goods and off the shelf braces to patients as ordered by the Physicians or Scope of Practice, on a timely manner
      • Communicates information clearly and precisely to fellow technicians 100% of the time so that coverage will not be affected by change of staffing as observed by the manager
      • Documents accurately, completely, and timely with legible handwriting, using measurable terminology and acceptable abbreviations
      • Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvements activities. Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department
      • Willingly adjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours to assist in other centers/programs/areas as approved and observed by manager. Participates and complies with on-call schedule and duties as defined by department standards of practice
      • Practices principles of employee and patient safety when performing daily job activities via observation
      • Complies with Facility Compliance Plan, rules and regulations of all local, state, and federal agencies, and with the standards of all accrediting bodies and payers as evident through documentation reviews, tracers and rounds results. Takes responsibility for the environment of care by monitoring and tacking action as needed
      • Performs other duties as assigned

      Knowledge and Experience Strongly Preferred:

      • Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English

      • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office

      Required:

      high School Grad or Equiv

      BLS/CERT
