Job Description

- Perform patching, vulnerability, and anti-virus updates on OT assets.
- Support on-going hardware life-cycle refresh activities.
- Provide first level troubleshooting support for OT users.
- Assist with asset disposal including electronic waste activities.
- Modify OT documentation as required.
- Perform regular reviews of applicable OT procedures and work instructions to ensure all are up-to-date and applicable.
- Assist with developing compliance and metrics reports utilizing Structure Query Language (SQL) and industry-standard reporting tools.
- Provide basic support of custom programming code repository tool.
- Support custom application development projects by participating in requirements gathering and code review process.
- Assist local and enterprise OT security team with cybersecurity reviews, evaluations, and remediations as directed.
- Utilize department ticketing system for scheduling and completing all work.
- Provide off-hour OT support as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, or in a similar discipline
- Experience with Microsoft Office operating systems
- Knowledge and experience with custom script development
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving computer issues
- Experience with utilizing databases and developing queries
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to learn new IT/OT skills as required
- Knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity programs and frameworks
- Physical ability to work around and on industrial equipment, including frequent climbing of stairs and ladders
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas (respirator, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, heeled boots, and hearing protection)

The Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Specialist provides support for Port Arthur Manufacturing Complex (PAMC) OT users and systems while learning advanced IT/OT skills in specialized areas of interest.
