- Reports to Logistics Centre of Excellence Practice Director and works as part of the EMEA Oracle Consulting Team
- Works across Oracle lines of business assisting with delivery, pre-sales & education
- Works closely with EMEA country organizations, as required, with potentially extensive travel within the region
- Works alongside Partners and other third party organizations as required
- Interacts with and works alongside the Client team, at customer site as/when required
- Works towards an utilization/cost recovery target
- Assisting with requirement definitions
- Implementing Oracle Transportation Management in line with an agreed proposal
- Contributing to Solution design, including Prototype configuration, Solution documentation and Testing
- Balancing the clients demands with protecting Oracle commercial interests
- Working alongside Partner and other third party organizations as required
- Developing and maintaining an up to date knowledge of relevant Oracle products and services
- Training and knowledge transfer of application configuration details and sharing best practice within the practice and across lines of business
- Acting as an expert in the specialist practice area
- Listen to & understand clients requirements and translate into implementable solutions
- Gain client acceptance of the defined solution
- Maintain knowledge of Oracle’s current and future products/solutions offerings
- Maintain Industry/business knowledge
- An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.
- At least 5 years of experience relevant to this position, including implementation experience of Oracle Transportation Management
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
- Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
