      About the Job Title Outbound Sales Development Representative – Apollo.io:

      MarketStar is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Apollo.io team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to grow and develop their career in the fast-paced tech and SaaS space. You will play a pivotal ro le in ident ifying and qualifying potential sales opportunities, managing a mix of inbound and outbound communications, and efficiently directing leads t o the appropriate sale s team members across various channels.

      Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Hybrid)

      What Will You Do?

      • Driving new business through targeted outbound calling campaigns , initiating conversations that generate qualified sales opportunities.

      • Executing a high volume of daily outreach activities, including making 200+ outbound calls to engage prospects and maximize touchpoints.

      • Securing qualified meetings with key decision-makers, contributing directly to our sales pipeline and revenue growth with a focus on strong meeting attendance rates.

      • Developing and refining your communication strategies , including call flows, compelling talk tracks, and expert objection handling to effectively advance prospects through the sales funnel.

      • Assessing prospect needs and identifying key pain points to ensure leads are thoroughly qualified before seamlessly transitioning them to our sales team.

      • Delivering an exceptional first impression by engaging prospects with professionalism and a customer-centric approach during all outreach efforts.

      • Consistently meeting and exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly activity targets as a critical measure of your performance in a high-volume environment.

      • Actively participating in coaching sessions and applying feedback to continuously enhance your outbound sales techniques and overall performance.

      • Collaborating closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified meetings and to provide valuable insights that contribute to higher conversion rates.

      What Will You Need to Succeed?

      • At least 1 year of business sales experience , with a strong preference for backgrounds in tech/software or high-volume calling environments.

      • A proven track record of consistently meeting activity targets and being a top performer in your current or previous roles.

      • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate, present to, and influence key stakeholders across both technical and non-technical roles.

      • Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine customer-centric mindset.

      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures quickly, embracing feedback to improve skills.

      • Grit and determination to advance company values, unique culture, and future results. Thrive in a competitive environment, embracing challenges, enjoying objection handling, and using setbacks a s fuel to improve and win.

      • A self-starter who proactively identifies opportunities, takes initiative, and stays motivated in the face of multiple objections and "no's."
