- Load clearance product from stores onto outlet tables utilizing tippers and by hand as needed.
- Separate clothing, shoes, accessories, wares, trash and items for recycling; placing them in the appropriate designated areas.
- Load product from Outlet tables loading into bale machines to create bales for Salvage.
- Ensure that tables pulled from the Outlet floor are of trash and commodities prior to baling.
- Assist with removal of tables on the Outlet floor to the Salvage production area.
- Operate all electrical and manual equipment adhering to established operational procedures and safety guidelines.
- Must be able to use material handling equipment (i.e. pallet jack, hand truck, dolly) and operate electrical equipment (i.e. compactor, tipper, down-stroke baler, MAX PAK ); adhering to established operational procedures and safety guidelines.
- Responsible for ensuring that all electrical equipment is fully operational as outlined in the safety guidelines at the start of each shift prior to use. Communicate any findings to the manager on duty immediately.
- Transport donations dropped off in the Outlet to the production area and sort in compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Assist donors with large donations to unload their vehicles and transport to the appropriate cages.
- Provide a high level of customer service, engaging all donors quickly and courteously, offering donation receipts, and handling all donated items with care and gratitude.
- Follows all established Corporate and regulatory safety and security procedures which include the handling of hazardous materials.
- Complete health and safety training as scheduled.
- Ensures appropriate housekeeping is completed, including assigned cleaning duties at the end of shift and proper organization.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to receive supervision and feedback.
- Open availability.
- Must be able to process multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to train on power equipment and machinery.
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
- Must be sensitive to working with adults with mental and/or physical disabilities.

The Outlet Material Handler is responsible for a variety of tasks that support the efficient operation of the Outlet and Salvage departments. Duties include loading and unloading inventory into equipment, moving product into and out of the outlet, creating salvage bales, and operating different types of powered equipment and machinery.

Maintains cleanliness/safety of warehouse by keeping aisles and egresses clear of debris and obstruction.
