      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Accurately assign ICD-10-CM/CPT/HCPCS codes to patient encounters following established guidelines
      - Review patients’ medical records to ensure coding accuracy and compliance
      - Collaborate with Resource Management staff to enhance specificity in physician documentation
      - Maintain proficiency in specialized coding software and coding resources
      - Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare staff regarding documentation and coding issues

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate degree in Health Information Management or equivalent coding experience
      - Minimum of five (5) years of medical record coding experience
      - Credentialed in Health Information Management as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, COC, CPC, or CCS-P
      - Demonstrated ability to code outpatient records accurately
      - Ability to form effective working relationships with staff, management, and physicians

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with specialized computer software, such as 3M Codefinder
      - Familiarity with ICD-10-CM and CPT Code Books
      - Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with diverse customers
      - Manual dexterity and visual acuity for chart review and document filing
      - Ability to handle routine lifting of approximately 15 pounds
