Job Description
- Req#: 517092
- Develops occupational therapy plan of care with realistic/measurable outcomes in collaboration with the client/family and physician including discharge goals and according to Organization protocols.
- Provides education and promotes client’s rights and responsibilities for informed decision making in the plan of care.
- Refers to internal and external community resources to meet client outcomes when appropriate.
- Initiates diagnostic, preventive and rehabilitative procedures as appropriate to the client’s care & safety to assist in the development and revision of Plan of Care.
- Evaluates and documents progress toward outcomes and coordinates discharge plan with client and family and other health professionals.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience helpful but not required. New graduates accepted.
- Current O.T. License in State of Maine & current CPR Card.
- Must have a reliable and insured automobile and a current Maine driver’s license.
