OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (PHP/IOP) REGISTERED NURSE

Full-Time Monday - Friday

Rivendell Behavioral Health Services is an 80-bed full-service behavioral healthcare acute care facility located in Benton, AR, that has been providing quality health care to the residents of Arkansas since 1985. Under the direction of the Pychiatrist and the Director of Outpatient Services, the Registered Nurse (RN) performs ongoing assessments of the behavioral and medical needs of the patients, assists in admission paperwork and processes, lead nursing model group sessions with patients, and each day accurately chart those observations of the patients. The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for creating, maintaining and managing a therapeutic milieu within the treatment program to ensure safety of patients and staff. The Registered Nurse (RN) will demonstrate appropriate therapeutic boundaries with patients and coworkers. The Registered Nurse (RN) operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice within the Rules and Regulations of Registered Nurses outlined by the Arkansas Board of Nursing and according to agency operating policies, protocols, and standards.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

Current license to practice nursing in Arkansas (or eligible to receive or renew).
Current CPR or BLS certification. (offered at facility)
Current Handle with Care training. (offered at facility)
Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 18-65yrs+.
