      Job summary

      We have an exciting opportunity for a experienced Outpatient Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient team based in Hemel Hempstead. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.

      Main duties of the job

      About the role

      Your responsibilities will include:

      To deliver safe, effective and evidence-based nursing care to patients and their families within the Outpatient Department.

      To work closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve/maintain an outstanding, patient-focused service.

      To provide support/ education to more junior members of staff and supervise Healthcare Assistants.

      To act as a shift leader or deputise for the Outpatient Sister, as required.

      For Clinical Roles:

      The successful candidate will be expected to work on a shift basis, working 37.5 hours per week over a 7 day rota during the hospital operating hours. The rota is not fixed, is subject to change in order to meet operational needs and will be required to work weekends and bank holidays in accordance with the rota.
