Job Description Summary:

This position resides in Maternal Fetal Medicine. The Staff RN is responsible for providing electronic fetal monitoring, supporting in office procedures, performing injections, helping with referrals, prior authorizations and consult abstracts. The Staff RN may also help support high acuity patients. Women's Health experience and EFM certification preferred.

Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse health care settings.

The RN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

According to department policies and nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients.

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.

Minimum Qualifications:

BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart AssociationAmerican Heart AssociationAmerican Heart Association, RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of NursingOhio Board of NursingOhio Board of Nursing

Preferred Experience:

• Women's Health/OB experience and EFM certification preferred.
• Experience with nonstress test (NST) highly desirable.
