Maintain strong relationships with prospective students, which can include phone calls, email, text messages, online information sessions, campus tours, student shadow coordination, etc. This can take up to 90% of the workday.

Schedule and attend college fairs, and class presentations in assigned geographic territory.

Assist in the travel to local high school events, as well as DigiPen’s skills centers, stay connected with counselors and prospective students, attend distant fairs, and virtual events. This travel can sometimes make up 80% of a month’s work during peak months such as October, November, March and April.

Update and maintain leads by entering them into our college’s database, making necessary phone calls, and sending out appropriate information. Follow-up and maintain meaningful, professional relationships with those interested.

Assist and attend, when needed, industry events such as PAX, Emerald Comic-Con and others.

Assist with promotion and execution of on-campus events like Preview Days, and special events for prospective and incoming students.

Assist with updating and reordering promotional and event related to functional area tasks. Maintain appropriate documentation and reports to drive decision-making.

Assist in the research and growth of the Outreach department.

Record expenses and ensure that the budget is maintained for individual areas of responsibility.

Provide cross-training and back-up to others in the department, as needed.

Ability to work evenings and weekends, as well as travel both in and out of state.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree required

Computer knowledge of MS Office and proficiency with new technology

Demonstrated outgoing and enthusiastic personality with very well-developed written and spoken communication skills

Current valid driver’s license and dependable transportation/personal vehicle

Superior organizational ability and attention to detail are essential

May need to lift up to 50lbs.

At least one year’s previous experience working in the admissions office or other student services office of a higher education institution, with an emphasis on student recruitment.

Knowledge or interest in the fields of video game development, animation, or computer science is highly desired.

Admissions Outreach Coordinator
DigiPen Institute of Technology Reports to the Assistant Director of Outreach Full-time, Exempt DigiPen Institute of Technology is seeking an Admissions Outreach Coordinator who will support the mission of the institution by focusing on increasing the quality and quantity of prospective students and applicants. This is achieved by strengthening the awareness and knowledge of our school through hosting visits, providing campus tours, visiting and attending local and distant college fairs, coordinating community events and activities and increasing and maintaining contact with high school counselors, students, teachers, and parents.Essential Functions

Salary range for this position: $65,478.40 – $67,724.80
