- 0- 5 years of experience in the electrical maintenance field
- 3 - 5 years of experience in the electrical maintenance field
- Mechanical ability to repair and rebuild required Pre Heat equipment
- Must have the ability to distinguish between colors for the purpose of performing the job
Overview
Electric Boat is the premier designer and builder of nuclear powered submarines for the US Navy and we are experiencing a period of unprecedented growth! We are looking for people who want to learn and grow within our Welding Department as we continue to build the most advanced submarines.
The successful candidate will repair three phase 240-480 volt, panels and cables required. Knowledge and ability to read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams. Knowledge and familiarization of induction preheat. Work assignments accomplished within various company documents, policies, procedures and forms. Work conditions will include entry in restricted areas, radiological, confined spaces and high elevations.
