Job Description
- Req#: 51450
- Consistently manufacture “great tasting” sausage products according to specifications
- Work together with other Oven Operators, Kontura Operators and Packaging Impingement Members to obtain World Class packaging results in safety, yields, usages, and efficiencies
- Learn both the oven operator responsibilities at RS and MS
- Actively participate in daily Tailgate meetings by offering ideas and suggestions, supporting team members and participating on team projects
- Set goals and objectives; both personal and as a team member to acquire "superlative" performance in order to support the Johnsonville Way
- Grow, develop, and stretch yourself by continuing to find new and better ways to meet your commitments to yourself, your team and to JVL.
- Identify and potentially track Critical Control Points (CCP) in the oven area
- Help keep the oven area within Food Safety Quality (FSQ) compliance
- Make adjustments to stay within product specifications
- Proper set up of production equipment for running by locking out machinery
- Mechanical ability to troubleshoot production equipment
- Use SAP software to transfer materials
- Idea generation to improve processes to achieve superlative performance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Basic math skills required
- Must be able to complete production documentation paperwork accurately
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to maintain all GMPs
- Must be able to help keep the smoking area within TQC compliance
- Must have the desire to learn, grow and take on increasing responsibility
- Basic computer skills needed
- Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background check

Pay Range: $25.36/hr - $26.95/hr + $1.50 Shift Premium
Hours: 1:30pm-10:30pm; Monday – Friday (Overtime as production needs)
