  Job Details:

  This position is responsible for entry-level, non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

  Tasks:

  • The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • These positions could work in any department of Sanitation.

  • Some positions require the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry 40 pounds or more.

  • Must work in extreme hot, cold, humid, and wet environments, use hands and arms above shoulder level, and stand or walk for 8-10 hours per day.

  • Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to/from the work areas.

  • The sanitation process uses bleach and other cleaning chemicals.

  Hours: Monday - Friday/Saturday, 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM.

  Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson have a 180-day rehire waiting period and a 3-time rehire limit.
