      Aerotek, voted Best of Staffing, is hiring overhead crane technicians to work with a well respected aerospace company with a starting annual pay of $65,000 and a max of $85,000 for skilled technicians. Client pays very generously with competitive pay rates in the market. The position is based out of Phoenix, AZ and you will be traveling in a company truck around AZ. Ideal candidates would be looking for a long term opportunity and to grow with a company, and willing to be a part of an exciting team. Technicians must be able to troubleshoot 3 phase motors, have strong electrical experience with the mechanical knowledge to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment, work at heights above 25 feet, and have a clean MVR.

      Description:

      • Troubleshoot, repair and inspect overhead cranes and hoists.
      • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
      • Support customers by effectively interfacing with customer and office in repairing equipment as needed.
      • Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs for customers.
      • Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; and recommending system improvements.
      • Service overhead crane systems by performing quality installations; performing OSHA/ANSI equivalent inspections; documenting and completing warranty work; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance; and responding to repair calls.
      • Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklist.
      • Builds and maintains customer confidence by maintaining good response time, informing customer of problems, and completing the job in a timely manner.
      • Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications:

      • Good driving record, work under pressure and deadlines, work independently. troubleshoot electrical circuits, perform inspections to OSHA/ANSI criteria, excellent communication skills, ability to work at heights, willingness to travel, safety oriented, maintain confidentiality, customer service oriented while being quality and results driven

      Nice to have: Ability to fabricate and weld structures, assemble and repair complex machinery

      • Company Truck
      • Must provide your own tools
      • 99% of all travel is here in AZ
      • Regular hours are 7am to 5pm M-F
      • Must be on call for emergencies
