- Packaging and retail merchandising for the deli and bakery items
- Performing basic food preparation in accordance with PCC recipes
- Rotating product on the retail shelves, back room, freezer and cooler
- Unloading incoming orders from the commissary and labeling items
- Production, packaging and retail merchandising for sandwiches
- Washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans and various other food preparation equipment used in the deli
- Cleaning the deli production areas and service areas
- Taking out the trash, sweeping, mopping and wiping down equipment
- Ensuring department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Providing excellent, professional customer service when needed
- Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Available to work the overnight shift, including weekends
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Previous food preparation experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math skills for measurement and scale functions
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to meet physical requirements of standing, twisting, bending, repetitive motion, and lifting 10-40lbs regularly
- A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Proven ability to perform excellent, professional customer service
- Additional $1.25/hour Night Differential when applicable.
